We got up & headed to the train station where we took an Amtrak train from Boston to New York City! I was quite impressed with the train- a very nice & pleasant trip. It took us about 4 hours- so we ate breakfast, Leah & I watched a movie, we all played cards, etc. We ended up sitting in the quiet car & got 4 seats facing one another.

Once we arrived at Penn Station, we took a cab to our hotel & dropped off our luggage. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Times Square. Since our rooms weren't ready for check-in, we went to grab a quick bite to eat. We ended up eating burgers at Juniors- it was pretty good!

HUGE onion rings that looked more like donuts (they weren't that great though, to be honest.)
After lunch the plan was to go stand in line for broadway tickets at the TKTS booth, but the line was absolutely insane. So we made the decision to skip the broadway show entirely & explore the city. We checked into the hotel & then headed to Central Park for a carriage ride. We spent time afterwards walking around the park & then ran into FAO Schwartz!

We had a corner room on the 39th floor with great views- of Manhattan

We stayed across the street from the M&M store- Austin would have loved it!

For dinner that night we went to a family style Italian place called Tony's Di Napoli! It was great- I'd definitely go there again! And very reasonably priced for NYC.
