We woke up early & headed down to the New England Aquarium to catch a whale watching tour! The weather was beautiful- sunny and in the high 70s/low 80s. It took a little over an hour to get out to where you see the whales- so we took lots of pictures on the way. It got a little chilly once we got 20 miles out (thankfully we'd all brought jackets with us.)
Trying to read the subway map
Ready for day 2
Some nice yachts we saw leaving the dock

Typical New England lighthouse
Homes on the shore outside of Boston
Getting chilly- time to bundle up! ha ha- this reminds me of what we looked like during the winter when we lived up north! FYI- he did not wear the hood (that was just for the picture!)
WHALES- we probably saw 6 or 8 of them total!
Once it was time to head back to shore, we settled into a booth inside the boat & played cards- it made the trip back much shorter & lots of fun!

After regaining our balance (oh wait, I'm still struggling with my balance and I've been home for 3 days....) Anyway, we made our way to a little sandwich shop for lunch- it was a great little hole in the wall find by Jared!

Paul Revere monument/headstone

Listening to the tour... what good students.
After getting in a quick nap & cleaning up, we headed to an amazing seafood dinner at Atlantic Fish Co. If you are in Boston- go there!
