Quack Quack!

A few nights ago we went over to Bear Creek Park to check it out!  We'd never been over there, and realized we'd been missing out!  Such a fun place- lots of open space to run, a great playground, a good creek for fishing, tons of ducks to feed, walking trails and bridges, etc.  It was late in the evening when we visited, so I promised Austin I would take him back later this week to feed the ducks and play!

So this morning we headed over to the park with our last few pieces of bread- he was SO excited!  We played at the park for a while, chased some squirrels, and then spent some time feeding the ducks!  They were so friendly and tame.. can't wait to go back!

New things....

New nerf guns (he loves when I shoot him- ha ha!)

New library card (his first!)  We're still learning that you have to be QUIET in the library.

New place for Max to sit.. crazy thing.

Blooming!

After all of the rain and cool temperatures this month, we've got lots of blooming plants in the new yard!  It will be fun to go through this first year of seasons to see what all we've got!!

Who knew I was crafty?

Amber and I had seen these adorable burlap footballs on interest & decided we could make it ourselves (rather than pay $40!)  So we got together our supplies and sent 5 HOURS one night making them.  But let me just say, they turned out SO cute!  Worth every minute & it looks so great on our door to start football season!!

Rangers Game

Tonight we were able to get Rangers tickets through Mat & Shanna's church!  This was Evie's first Rangers game and Austin's second!  The kids had a great time- especially the eating part :)  Austin did enjoy watching a little bit of the game, and especially loved the fireworks after a home run (Evie did NOT.)  A few pics from the night!

Ft Worth Stock Yards

Shane took the day off and we headed downtown to COWTOWN!  Yes, the Fort Worth Stock Yards! We had a great time posing for pics on a longhorn, watching the cattle drive, riding a pony, shopping, eating at The Love Shack, and just walking around the area to check out the sites!  We had a wonderful day!  :-)
