Birthdays aren't any fun when you keep getting closer and closer to that big 4-0.  Nah, just kidding- it really was a good day!  Austin is finally to the age where he understands it's my birthday and gets very excited about it!

A conversation we had at bedtime the night before my birthday~
Me:  What song to you want to sing?
Austin: I want to practice singing Happy Birthday for you, Mommy.
Me:  Okay (so we sing Happy Birthday)
Me: How old is Mommy going to be?
Austin: A hundred.
Awe-some.

It was a pretty normal Friday for us, except Austin was ready for birthday cake before even having breakfast!  We compromised by going out for donuts instead :)  To celebrate we went out for pizza with Mat, Shanna, and Evie......Shanna even brought a yummy pumpkin cheesecake for dessert!  Shane & Austin got me a card, and Shane picked up a few bundtlets from Nothing Bundt Cakes for us to snack on over the weekend!

Overall a great birthday~ well, for being 37.  :)

Cousins

My cousin Serena was in town for work this week, so a few of us got together for a little cousins dinner at La Hacienda Ranch!  We always have so much fun together- love them all so much!!

This morning was Meet the Teacher at Preschool!  I can't believe Austin is already in Pre-K!  We love his teachers this year... such a blessing!
