Our new house
At closing
Both sets of our parents came into town to visit & help get the new house ready! My parents had planned to come visit in August, but my mom's chemo treatments changed all those plans. Shane's parents stayed with us for a few days & then with Shanna for a few, and my parents stayed at our new house (we set up the guest bedroom furniture for them!)
We have the best families- they worked so hard helping to get light fixtures and ceiling fans hung, cabinets lined, house cleaned, yard cleaned up, etc! We really enjoyed our time together... including dinner out to celebrate Gary's birthday & our anniversary!
On July 4th we had a pretty quiet day & celebrated with dinner at Cheesecake Factory! Austin didn't nap, so we opted out of fireworks- hopefully next year!
One last thing we were able to do while my parents visited was to go see my Grandma Anna! She is in a nursing home now, but was doing so much better than last time we went to see her. We had a great time visiting! She is so precious to me~
