Soccer!

Today was Austin's first soccer practice! He is playing with Upward Soccer (organized by our church.) He is one of the youngest players on his team, among them his good friend Sydney! We'd purchased 2 small soccer goals a few weeks ago to get him familiar with the sport & he seemed to be doing pretty well for someone just learning!

Austin is on a 4 yr old team (granted there are kids are his team that will be turning 5 very soon!) His coach is a really nice guy, Coach David/Coach Chapman, and the other parents seem very sweet too!

He was really excited to go once I got him all dressed!

Coach had them on the far side of the field for most of practice- away from the parents. Smart guy!

Of course we haven't learned the rules yet... :)

I'm proud of him too! And Daddy, although he was out of town and missed practice this week~

Can't wait to see how his first game goes!
