Butterflies

For Austin's birthday last year, he got a Live Butterfly Garden.  I didn't think much of it, but he had been asking to open it... so I did.  I had to go online and order the larvae & they were mailed to us within a few days.  It was the easiest thing ever- you basically watch them transform into butterflies over a few weeks!

Austin loved checking on them daily, watching them transition through each stage, grow, and finally become butterflies!  We kept them inside for a few days & then released them into the backyard.  We already have a lot of butterflies in our yard, but every time I see one now... I wonder if it's one of those 5 that we released!
