Cruise (Days 3- St Lucia)

Tuesday- St Lucia

We had two island excursions on St Lucia- we had to take a VERY curvy road up and down mountain roads to reach our first location.. a cocoa plantation.  We had a great time getting a tour of this beautiful plantation overlooking the ocean & learning how cocoa is made!

Arriving early in the morning

A few pics on our way up to the plantation

A village on the way up- the women wash their clothes in this creek

Making a few stops on the way up to take in the views

Explaining the process

Well hello :)

Time for fresh coconut

Our next stop were some beautiful waterfalls!  We did not jump in to swim, but did take lots of pics and enjoyed some local market shopping there as well!

I don't have many pictures from that evening- but I guarantee you we went to a show & the casino!  Ha Ha!!  The ship was so cold in the evenings, so I was always bundled up wherever we went!

Cruise (Days 2- Barbados)

Monday- Barbados

I woke up at 6:30 on Monday morning (which would typically not be a good thing), but when you have this view... it's not so bad!

We had a relaxing morning on the ship & then grabbed a quick bite for lunch before leaving for our afternoon excursion!  We went to Cockspur Beach Club and relaxed on the beach (working on our tans, playing in the water, drinking some rum punch!)  Afterwards we did a little shopping at the dock & then got on board for 6pm departure!  That night we switched to select dining and were able to eat whenever we wanted and with just us 4- loved that!  After a casual dinner we enjoyed a few evening shows in one of the lounges- my favorite was the "Not So Newlywed Game"!  And typically we ended every night in the casino!!

Relaxing by the pool before lunch

Stacy guessing the weight of a watermelon- fun games :)

Now that's traveling in style

Cruise (Day 1- At sea)

Sunday- Day at Sea

We took our time getting up on Sunday & spent most of the day at the pool and eating (isn't that what you do on a cruise??)  That evening was formal night, so we opted to eat at one of the specialty restaurants- Qsine.  It was such a neat place- decorated modern and the menu was even on iPads!  Fun time!

Can't beat this view at lunch!
