Summer Movies

Every Tuesday morning we go to the summer movies with friends- Austin loves going (mainly because we skip breakfast and eat popcorn & suckers at the theater!) A few recent pics~

July 4th fun

On July 4th we had Mat, Shanna & Evie over to celebrate! We had a yummy bbq dinner & then went outside to let Austin & Evie play on the slip & slide! They had so much fun playing together- as usual! Afterwards we had my favorite- buntinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes!

Destin: Part 4

Shane headed back home on Wednesday (for work), but Austin & I decided to change our reservations and stay until the following Monday! We pretty much just did more of what we'd been doing- pool, beach, kiddie park, etc. So I didn't take many pics for the remainder of the trip~

Our last morning (Monday) we headed to the beach one final time! He wanted to ride the waves, but wasn't too successful. He just rolled & got lots of water up his nose!

Last pic of the trip: Austin learned to enjoy showers- especially in Poppy's big shower! He'd play in there for 20 minutes easy!

Destin: Part 3

Monday
Austin woke up early so we headed to the play for a while before going to the beach. There were lots of things to climb on, so he loved it!






At the beach Austin spent a lot of time building & smashing sandcastles




He also loved getting buckets of water and pouring them in holes




... and splashing, of course!

We ate at Pompano Joe's again- this time with friends Mike & Judy (or Mike & Heart as Austin calls them- Judy's grandma name is sweetheart!)

That evening we headed out to some friends' house to kayak! A storm popped up right before we left- but we still got a lesson & some great pics! We decided to come back the next morning and try again!

After kayaking we headed to the harbor for lunch.








While we were waiting, Austin enjoyed watching a video message from his friend, Saylor (love the excitement on his face!)
