Week 15- Buying Target gift cards and giving them away to people in the store.
We decided to spend the final week of our summer random acts of service at our favorite store, TARGET! We picked up a few groceries and then headed to checkout where we purchased 5 gift cards. After checking out we gave one to the cashier and one to the woman in line behind us... both were in shock and so thankful!
Next we headed to the dollar section of the store and hid $1 bills (Austin's favorite part.) In the meantime I found something that I wanted to try on, so we headed to the dressing rooms & handed out another gift card to the woman working in there. She was skeptical at first, but then perked up once she realized what we had given her.
Then we headed to the toy department and hid the 4th gift card near the spiderman toys! Finally we checedk out again and gave the last gift card to that cashier (who was new and having a rough day working the cash register.) She was thrilled and said, "I will pay if forward" as we left. Mission accomplished!
While our summer of RAOK is over, we will continue to do things sporadically through the year. It has been such a blessing to us!
