On Thursday we met up for donuts before headed out of town & casually made our way to San Antonio (via the outlet mall in San Marcos.) We arrived in time to get settled in our adjoining rooms before heading to a movie! We took the kids to see The Croods at the Alamo Draft House. You order & eat dinner while watching the movie- so fun!
We arrived at Sea World when it opened at 10am on Friday morning & stayed until closing at 6pm! It was a great time- lots of rides, shows, and animals to see! Thankfully it wasn't too crowded, and the weather was perfect! Austin's favorite part was feeding the dolphins and sea lions (mine too!)

After a tiring day we took the boys down to swim at the hotel pool and order dinner. Afterwards we sat around the fire pits and watched a movie (Wall-E) and made smores- such a fun evening! The boys were EXHAUSTED when we retired for the evening.
Saturday morning we took our time getting up and around before heading north to Austin, TX! We decided to try out the food truck parks in Austin- they were great!
He NEVER sleeps in the car- he was so tired!!
My lunch- turkey, brie, and pesto panini

Jared's pick- Flying Pig
Shane's pick- Carney
Afterwards we got settled into our hotel, took naps, and went to the Round Rock Express game at the Dell Diamond! We had seats in the grass behind the outfield- it was great for families with rowdy boys!!
Sunday we ate a quick breakfast together before Jared, Leah, Reid, and Grant headed back to Ft Worth. We did some plant shopping at our favorite Austin nursery and took a quick drive by our old house before heading home ourselves! Overall a very fun weekend trip- we look forward to our next trip together! :)
