Acts of Service and Kindness- Week 6

Week 6- Taking cookies to nurses, passing out balloons to kids at the library, leaving lollipops at the playground, and picking up trash at the park!

Austin & I made cookies and took them to the hospital to thank the nurses caring for Aunt Shanna, Adelaide, and Annie

Only a few left!  He loved asking the kids if they would like one and then saying "hold on tight so it doesn't fly away!"

We ran into a friend at the library too!

Week 3- Sidewalk Chalk Love

Writing sweet messages to friends on their driveways.  He drew some of the pics, but I did all the words (we had to hurry so nobody would see us!)

A few friends were out of town, so we will have to go make another trip later this summer!

It was HOT, so we stopped for Sonic slushes between houses

Left some small gifts for his friends too!  His favorite part was knocking on the door and then running to the car (so we could drive away before they saw us!)

Addy & Ava's mom sent us a pic of her surprised little girls.... granted Austin will probably ruin the surprise by tell Addy it was us!  Oh well.

Week 2-  We made cookies for our mail woman & librarians, as well as notes to hide in library books for others to find.

Running out to the mail woman- she was shocked.  Honestly she thought we were kidding & it took her a few minutes to speak.

My favorite part of this week- the next day we received a hand delivered thank you note to our door from the mail woman.  Glad to have made Gloria's day!

Botanical Gardens

We made a trip to the botanical garden today~  always fun to look at the beautiful flowers, explore, and get a little exercise!
